With many people going to large Lithium house batteries, more are using the microwave as the primary cooking tool. This site shows lots of ways to do meals with fresh ingredients (scratch) made quickly in the microwave.
I think the target audience is college kids, but the quality of ingredients and the efficacy of preparation leads me to believe that some qualified chefs/nutritionists are creating these recipes. I have never seen such seemingly appetizing foods cooked from scratch in a microwave. For me, this is going to make quickly cooking good food in the SMB a snap. I am impressed.
