I think the same thing some of those places , just say no...
I like to travel but there is a limit to where.
Hell I have never even been to Mexico yet. (well Mexico, NY yes, but not the country)

Your second paragraph is really great and very true.
Its not a contest, go and do what ever works for you just enjoy it.
Some people are very happy just staying near home, nothing wrong with that.
I often think about this guy when I lived in Georgia a neighbor of mine who had never been out of the county let alone the state and he was quite happy about that.

I really don't know but the post was something I couldn't stop reading even though I've always had zero intrest in Africa for the most part. But you have to give credit to all these kinds of people who take such journeys...very cool.

I'll key on the US and Canada for a visit. It wasn't until 2009 before I went to states other than Nevada as an adult. I was 4 or 5 years old when we toured the US...one of these days I'm gonna go back up Pikes Peak just to see it again. It was the only thinng I seemed to remember. Boy did I get sick on that drive

I've been to 40+ countries (used to live in the UK and work for an international non-profit) and 49 states...every one except North Dakota!
