Back in the day, way back in the day, I remember getting a Wayne Brown kicktail skateboard. Purple and white swirl. Keep in mind this was in the EARLY stages of fiberglass boards when many people were still riding wood boards.
Wish I knew what happened to the board...

Well I recall stealing the sister's metal street skate, ripping it apart and nailing it to a 2x4---we thought we were hi-tek and ahead of the game then.
Oh, the loss of skin and numerous near-death experiences we kids endured for "fun".

Miss my old Logan Earth Ski, GT Grentick, and Bic Banana. Did the march of dimes walk-a-thon on the bic banana in '76. Good times....

Hopeless former skate punk here too. Man, do I wish I still had some of my old boards. I was such a punk that I took delight in destroying them when I got old enough to drive. I mean physically destroying them on purpose as part of a juvenile male coming of age ritual of sorts. No, I don't know why.
Those are excellent. I hope you named #8 the Heisenburg and #9 the Uncle Rico.

That's too funny. same boat here. i didn't have boards as old as the ones vandiesel listed, but the early 70's gt boards i had quite a few of. none of mine survived my teens either. they all perished along with all my models, redstripe hot wheels cars and everything else worth a bunch of money now on what we referred to as the bridge of death. nothing survived the bridge of death. ever. I'm sure the new owners of that house are still digging up random artifacts
