How'd they do that?
Getting ready for an overnight and bike ride, we found this
The top has been down all winter, the vehicle is driven regularly and there was no body or smell. There were a couple of droppings and a chewed Kleenex. My guess is it got in from some hole, couldn't find it's way back out and somehow crawled under the lowered lid, chewed its way out and squeezed through the closed roof to escape. Better contortionist than Houdini.

Re: How'd they do that?
Ouch! What a bummer. FWIW I had mice come out of the PH electric lift mechanism, and how they crawled up from inside the wall into the rails then would come running out in front of me had to make me laugh. Sorry they look cute but the little buggers gots to go when they attack.

They're a never ending nuisance where we live but I've never had them get into a vehicle that travelled regularly. So much for that theory.

Re: How'd they do that?
I had some get in during some shop work while the van probably was left open. Then they got shut in, and all heck broke loose. Burrowed into everything and it took a while to trap them, and then the cleanup was horrible. Never knew there were so many nooks and crannies. And then the first trip down washboard and even more mouse detritus came out. No one would travel in it for a couple of months.
But as I went around cleaning I used that foam insulation stuff that dries solid (urethane?); squirted in every possible passageway and no problems since. Turned out you could get in (if you were a rodent) via the undercarriage and into the pillars and then out into the walls of the interior.

I've seen mention of the problem on the forum but assumed I was immune. :-(. Will have to consider deeper response.

Re: How'd they do that?
Hopefully you won't find that now the guys have invaded, they have left a scent trail for others to follow.
