Interesting...
Where does your family sit if the inside of the van stores the camper? Also looks like it would take a long time to set up and take down.

Garage
Looks great for **perfectly level** camping spots.....

Seriously though --
I'm as big a fan as anyone of revolutionary new ideas, but....

.....anyone want to hazard a guess what that instant house-in-a-box ends up costing? For something that is intended to make van-based camping readily-available to even more people, it looks like it would be crazy expensive. IMHO the amount of engineering and complexity in that thing looks like it could out-strip (or at least match) the cost of a basic SMB penthouse/RB50 conversion.

Pretty cool little rig. "Hey boss, we need a cargo van for my company car..."

I looked around the website and the FAQ, curiously, price is not a Frequently Asked Question? LOL

I'm betting $30k USD, plus shipping for the origami camper

I'm guessing if you leave so much as a pillow on the couch, you get to start all over in packing it up.

I'm an engineer, and this thing reeks of an engineer with no practical experience whatsoever. Neat in theory, but questionable in reality.

Well said Herb, and the 'other' real question was already asked above. Where ya gonna put all the people while you're traveling? I'm sure they can't go IN it and all storage and people space except the front two seats will be filled with this box.

.....and it's spooky.

They're still looking for partners for further development---get in now!

This doesn't look to be something intended for overnight stays, more like set up for a few days or more each time out?

Could it be packed on a pull-behind trailer leaving the vehicle to haul people?

Interesting idea but doesn't seem too practical for the American market.
