Well with negative 30 gallons in the tank, no wonder it's not running.

That certainly is strange, I'm curious to see what the outcome is.

Sorry, I only shared this as a bit of a game/puzzle - just in case anyone has also seen this before

The issue was a low-voltage starter battery, drained by leaving the radio on in house battery position for too long while camping. To make it more curious, the dash was making a tick-tick-tick sound like a clock.

Not to worry. Everything worked just fine again once I used the house battery to start the van.

That's a weird one, it's almost as though the dead battery reversed polarity, and made the gauges invert reading... wierd

I bet your door locks were possessed too! That house battery switch is the Achilles Heel of the electrical system.
