New addition arrived!

Hi Everyone,
I am proud to announce that our son was born November 11th at 8lbs 4oz. His name is William.

The last two weeks have been a bit rough but he is perfectly fine now. At birth he was taken right away to the NICU (neo-natal intensive care unit) for inhaling amniotic fluid. He spent 11 days there (we were there everyday too) being treated for pneumonia.

William came home three days ago and we are very excited, proud, and tired.

One of the nurses in NICU has a conversion van so we swapped stories, brought in maps, looked at each others photos for trips, which was great. It helped pass the stressful time. The best part is, she said I should take William out now in my SMB. She said avoid crowds and public places but go outside and don't stay indoors all day. So the van is the perfect getaway where we can be alone.

We may go for a drive later today.

Here is a photo of him

Can't wait to take him camping.

steve

Re: New addition arrived!

Congratulations Steve,

By all means, take him out now. And keep taking him out with you until you let him go.

Best wishes,

Mike and Dorothy

Re: New addition arrived!

Great news Steve!

Sounds like the nurse gave you an SMB prescription, which to me, sounds like your SMB is now a medical write-off. You probably need to upgrade to Deavers because of your son too.

Sorry that you had to go through the early scare, I can't imagine what that was like. Take more pictures than you can stand, they change so quickly.

Oh, and take LOTS of naps.
