Congratulations Steve and family!
Our own new addition (daughter) just showed up this past week and I am already sleep deprived as I want to spend every available minute with her... ummmm, in addition to helping my wife recover that is.

Hey guys,
Thanks for all the encouragement and kind words. I am very excited. Only a couple of months to go. I have been so busy working, preparing the baby's room, that I have had little time for the forum or other things. I would like to do one more trip before November.
DaveB-don't think I can make the October trip since it is too close to the delivery date.
I hope to make it to Big Bear soon but may take my Jeep instead of the SMB.
Anyhow I am really looking forward to the kid. Now anyone have suggestions for a name? I'm not kidding . Wife and I haven't agreed on anything yet.

My only suggestion about names would be to be carefull with the initials and the name, kids can be cruel. I.E.:
CAL may seem like good initials but a girl could be teased about being a CALL-Girl
A guy in my home town was name Bentley Peter. He never could live that down.
Audrey, Lance, William, Alleen, generally old names.

Congratulations! Don't let that stop you from getting "out there". My hunger for adventure was derived from great rod trips and adventures when I was young. It is a perfect way to grow closer as a family.

I couldn't agree with you more Blackeye. I have heard so many people put their life on hold or set aside their hobbies when they have kids. I was really impressed with REF who brought his 18-month old to Moab a few months back when we met up out there. I am really looking forward to introducing my son to our hobby and my several other hobbies.
If only I could come up with a name...
