Re: NEW Scepter Fuel Containers

Dave,

I think both Yellow and red cans are no longer made. There should be yellow and red caps and straps available.

Re: NEW Scepter Fuel Containers

Dave,

I think those are them....

The yellow are MFCs designated for diesel.
The olive look to be MWCs. There is no restriction on selling MWCs in the USA.

Re: NEW Scepter Fuel Containers

Yep, if I can get a couple of Diesel cans it would be great. The water cans are not an issue and I purchased some 2.5 gallon cans that suit my needs better than the larger cans shown in the pics. If I could get a couple of Gas cans I'd do it just because.

Re: NEW Scepter Fuel Containers

Put this in the wrong thread initially:

I'm down for 3 or 4, two diesel and a water plus one more fuel maybe.

Re: NEW Scepter Fuel Containers

Did a group order ever materialize? If not too late, I would be interested in 4 cans for diesel.

Re: NEW Scepter Fuel Containers

It will be.

I am going to start a new thread with some specific choices and descriptions to make sure we order the correct gaskets.

I will post a reply here when I start that new thread.

Re: NEW Scepter Fuel Containers

I just looked them up on a Canadian site,

http://www.national4wdonline.com/cart.p ... ory_id=807

they retail for C$74 apiece. With the US$ at pretty close to parity they are not going to be cheap unless someone has a way of getting them at wholesale. One would think it would be possible with the volume of interest shown here. Keep us updated Gregg. The matching water containers in black are only C$43. Is it legal to bring them in in some quantity? I know NAFTA is called the NA Free trade Agreement but lets face it, it doesn't quite mean what it says.

I can just see it now: "American terrorist gang arrested for smuggling large quantity of illegal gasoline containers from Canada, shipped off to Guantanamo for interrogation for conspiring to violate CARB rules"...
