An ipad with the Ram-a-can mount and the GPS drive motion X app is a great combination for the SMB. It is easy to view and does not interfere with any of the radio or dash controls. This one app alone replicates the funtionality of a separate Garmin GPS for navigation.

I immediately started to find a suitable mount for the I Pad but in reading the instructions from Apple found that they recommend keeping at I believe was 95 degrees . I realize that this would be difficult at best in our travels so I opted for a couple of soft cases and a nice little padded bag that all of the accessories that they got for me can be stored in .
