Picture used off of the forum

Not that I didn't know it could happen, I recently found a picture that I posted on the forum turn up on a commercial website. http://www.nvproducts.com/cams&mons.htm. It would have been nice if I actually bought the camera from them.

They know that aren't allowed to do that without your permission....send them a letter and tell them to take it down or give you something you want...

Even better, have your scumbag lawyer in-law send them a nasty letter.

Notice the product name "Thule" was removed so they didn't have to get their permission! Looks like you might have a true "cause" for legal action. Good luck...

Re: Picture used off of the forum

If you took the picture you own the "Copyright". Everybody has to have your permission to use it.

Re: Picture used off of the forum

You should retain the copyright on your image. The question really is "Do I care enough to lawyer up?" In this case, since you don't make a living with your photography, I'd ask myself, "Does this company sell any gear I would like to have for free?"
