This is made by the same company (Eclectic Products) and is very similar to the GOOP . It by their admission and my personal use and trials not as strong and long lasting as the GOOP
and SHOE GOO products that they make . The 6000 is made in three different formula's and would be a good second choice .I have carried GOOP in all of my boats , tackle repair kit's and off road vehicle kit's for a number of year's , great product !

Well for my bug screens I might try tri nitro toluene. They just are worthless IMO and I'm sorry I was talked into them.

Ace Hardware in Costa Mesa has Toluene.

Greggde, Is household goop just as strong as marine goop? It is cheaper and I would not mind the discoloration you mentioned.

The adhesion quality of the the Marine Goop seems to be of a higher standard of elasticity , I primarily use the Household and the Plumbers Goop for thinning and lighter projects . The Marine is an incredible bonding sealant .
