After a very scary morning and the doctor telling me they didn't think he was going to make it. Stanford has decided to take on Jamies case. Transferring in a few minutes. Hoping for a good eval for a liver transplant. Cross your fingers everyone. Thanks for all your prayers.

Jamie is being transferred to Stanford (which is research/problem solving oriented) vs. a regular hospital. Maybe Stanford folks can find the as-yet-unknown cause of all this.

Just found out that Jamie passed.
We became good friends over the last few years and I always enjoyed a good discussion with him! We could go on & on for hours, he was a true gear head down to the core. He visited my shop and helped out for a day a few years ago, and even drove up to Grass Valley to help finish up the XP. jamie was a wealth of knowledge as you guys know, and I feel lucky to have known him.

Damn, I'm really sorry to hear that. That is the worst news I've heard this year.
