SMB Sighting at Speed Week

Sportsmobile spotted at Speed Week at Bonneville Salt flats, on August 13.

Nice metallic grey-green color Ford 4x4 with black rims.

Any of you?

I know it's ancient history now, but I just realized I never did post that trip report: Speed Week & Northern Nevada

And here's that other Sportsmobile on the Salt Flats. I love black rims!

Great pics geoffff! Some of that is pretty remote country. Where did you resupply with water?

Note: on one of your Silver Island Mountain pics, the desert bighorns are labelled as "deer".

Fixed those bighorns, thanks!

I didn't have a problem with water, just buying it in 2.5-gallon containers at supermarkets when I passed through civilization. In addition to the 10-gallon Sportsmobile tank, I have a 5-gallon "reserve" jug in the back, which I didn't have to touch. My biggest water use is dishwashing, and I've been trying to cut that down by wiping more with spatulas and paper towels.
