Re: SMB Sightings
Hey Kelly, not us. No Sprinter in da stable and we at win Mammoth backpacking with Beastie 2 as support.
Glad we have him with us as it started raining on Sunday afternoon and was on and off until this morning. Even hailed heavily last night. We bugged out of Little Lakes Valley a couple days early and have been hanging around Mammoth the last few days doing day hikes in between the rain. Tomorrow we head up to Thousand Island lakes for a few days now that the weather is clearing.
This is likely our last outing in Beastie 2, we are going to miss him A LOT. He has been a great rig to camp out of. This trip has three adults for two weeks and it has been really nice. Such flexibility and comfort for even multi week trips.
Have not seen any SMB types up here. A couple of 4x4 tall Sprinters, but that is it.
Ciao!!

Re: SMB Sightings
Saw two today. TWO!
Gold or Baja Tan parked with the PH up on the main drag in Summerland. Didn't see any humans, so maybe breakfast with a dog in the van?
Then I saw a shiny red Sprinter coming down Salinas off APS in Santa Barbara. Wish I hadn't been late for a meeting or I'd have gotten pics.

Re: SMB Sightings
210W Sunday evening about 6:30 from Monrovia-ish to Pasadena. White 4x4 with a poptop and dual baja boxes on back. 2005-ish, maybe? I waved.
Hope you were headed to / returning from some awesome adventures.

Re: SMB Sightings
In Ohio Amish country for a week. Came across this silver Minnesota SMB while at Keim Lumber Yard in Charm, Ohio. Hoped we would meet the owners but didn't.
