Sun Search
Im in need of Warm weather and Sun. Of course I will search the weather via internet just looking for any Ideas on where to find it this weekend within 6hrs of Jackson Hole Wy from all of my SMB friends. Who better to ask, Right?
We are thinking about Moad but I have never camper there. Is it warm there yet? Leaving Friday night would like to spend All day Sat. and have breakfast SUNday and head home.
Any good Ideas?
Thanks
Ron

Re: Sun Search
It's supposed to be really nice in Denver this Friday Saturday and Sunday. Not sure that qualifies as a "good" idea...

Re: Sun Search
We usually have the same weather as Moab, just not as hot here in the summer. It looks like the weather this next weekend is supposed to be in the mid 50's during the day. We were there a few days a go and it was great. The campgrounds were deserted in the Sand Flats area, and this is a great place to camp by the way.

Re: Sun Search
There was a bit but it was melting fast. Mostly just some snow on the north aspect of the hills. The La Sal's outside of Moab are another story though. They are near 130% of normal on snow pack.

Re: Sun Search
heading to Quartzsite, AZ next week. Going to be in the 80's. If you drive really fast, you maybe able to make it in 6 hours.

Re: Sun Search
It starts to get a little bit busier in April but finding a good spot is not hard. The weather in April is a fickle beast. It can be awesome, warm and sunny but it can also snow and be very windy ahead of a storm. Either way it's a spectacular place.
