The magazine I enjoy most

Is American Heritage's Invention and Technology

http://www.americanheritage.com/inventionandtechnology/

If you have any interest in technology, electrical, mechanical or chemical you will find fascinating stories.

I subscribe and have subscribed to many (my wife would say too many) magazines. This is by far the most interesting of all. The worst part of it is the fact it only comes 4 times a year. When an issue shows up, don't try to talk to me for several hours. It is always read cover to cover and kept for future reading and reference.

You can go onto the website above and go into the archives and read some stories to get a feel for the magazine.

Personally, I think nearly everyone who has a Sportsmobile will find this magazine worth reading.

Mike

Re: The magazine I enjoy most

Ooooh, that looks pretty good actually. I'd pretty much given up on everything but the Economist. Once you start reading the Economist, you can never go back to Time/Newsweek/US News and World Report/Other fluff again.

But this one looks pretty nice. Might be a good replacement for Technology Review, MIT's tech magazine that _used_ to be good, but then started creeping the way of Popular Science about three years ago. Now it's just your standard tech blog crap with an occasional item of interest.

I'm familiar with the Overland Journal. A very professional magazine, but too narrowly focused to be my overall favorite.

For a narrow focused magazine, I prefer the Home Shop Machinist:
