Well, it's much less shaky at 50 MPH than at 15-30 MPH. I usually aim for about 40 MPH on washboard for straightaways, and slow way down for corners. Yes, traction is minimal, so you have to be paying attention.

I agree with Geoff, about 40 or better it really smooths out. But when aired down the tires can get real hot and stressed. It's a trade off, I drop down to 35psi and drive slow or drop to 50psi and hit the higher speed of 40+
You sure have to watch cornering on washboard, stopping, and any big ruts or holes that pop up all of a sudden.
