TWOLOST + 1
Well, the day that looked like would never happen... somehow finally happened. After spending the past month in the hospital under close observation my wife delivered our beautiful new baby daughter @ 35 weeks this past Thursday (our first and only child). It has been a very long road... and I would not trade it for anything.
Mom and daughter are still in the hospital... but both are doing well.
Dad is still in shock!
A few pics of the new arrival were posted to another forum thread (DigitalGrin), located here:

Re: TWOLOST + 1
Congratulates to both of you. I am sure the month in the hospital seemed like forever but now the end results are great!!
Baby looks good and hope the new mom is also doing well.
Modern medical treatments and care can be really great.

ThreeLost, you're gonna be busy for a while and not much time on your hands, can I have the van now?

Re: TWOLOST + 1
Our nine-month old loves the queen size bed.. er, play area.. in the back of our our custom layout EB. You get maybe 6 months where movement is not an issue, but after that, be ready! It looks like quite a step from inside to the ground.
Have fun, I wouldn't trade the last night 9 months for anything.

Re: TWOLOST + 1
Hahaha... let the late night postings begin. I have not slept since I dont know when... and I dont even have everyone home yet.
Thanks for all of the comments and well wishes!!
Hey BC - while it seems like the van will get used less now… somehow it is all of my stuff that is getting punted out of the house and into the shop to make room for the new one. I figure I will be living out of the van full-time any day now.
Herb, we have picked out a name. I wont tell you what it is but I will give you a couple of hints. Her first name was derived from a famous Texan who figured out how to shoehorn some low tech American iron into a small and sexy European sports car… and then proceed to go out and show Ferrari and Corvette what time it was. More importantly, this American auto icon also established a foundation dedicated to help children who are in need of organ transplants (something very close to the hearts of my wife and I). As for her middle name, this comes from a lady racecar driver who raced a myriad of events back in the 80's and early 90's (Indy 500, Le Mans, SCCA Trans Am, etc... and who also has established her own foundation to help young aspiring women become race car drivers.
Thanks again everyone,
