At least it's there for future.
Good point on running power, I am going to run some conduit between the interior and exterior walls so I will be covered there. I am planning on a stove right away, we will use that a lot.

Since there aren't too many bugs this time of year, can I assume Ray is test fitting yours and will be adding these to his product line?

OMG!! I know this is an old thread, but holy crap, i just had to reply because it made me laugh so hard. I've been staring at the blue stripes on my white van since i bought it two months ago. They are stickers at least. I know this because everytime I walk past the van I can't resist testing how firmly attached they are TODAY. I'll take this post to heart thought, because knowing my luck the paint is going to come up with stripes!!
Nao.

** this is in response to bluedogs post about trying to remove his stripes. Sorry first post... didn't quote it right.

If they are a a vinyl type graphic, you can use a hair dryer or heat gun to remove them then use goofoff or WD40 to take off the adhesive. There will probably be a shadow where the stickers were but a good clay wax and buff should blend it all out. If you don't feel up to doing it your self then any window tent shop or auto body shop should be able to take them off.

K&N filter
was a waste of $50. Did absolutely nothing. I didn't expect much at all, but would have like to see at least a .01mpg increase.

Duracell AGM Deep Cycle Marine and RV Battery (Group Size 34M)
Bought two of these for my house setup in the van. Thought they would be OK for no more than I was going to use them, but I was wrong. I use more than I thought.

245/75R16 Nexen Roadian A/T Pro RA8 Tires
Bought four of these on eBay. I must have been blind that day, thought they were 10ply. I was wrong. At least they were only $400 total. I'll drive them until they're bald.

I probably have about 600 bucks of extra stuff that I bought for my build. Cable Lugs, Battery Cable, Sound Proofing, Insulation, Bolts and other hardware, incorrectly sized metal, fuses, 8020 extrusion, etc.

Recently I bought the 1.5" extrusion for my rack project. I needed the 1". I also messed up on the interior extrusion that way as well but decided to roll with it. So it looks like I will be building a killer workbench.

Induction cooktop

We bought a little $50 wind-resistant butane chef’s burner for cooking outside. Turns out we set it up on our expensive built in induction cooktop to cook inside too! (With windows open and roof fan on). Wish we had saved money, weight and space by eliminating the built in cooktop.
