We have cougar(also called mountain lions) being sighted all over right now.
One was just shot by a major shopping center. Also there are signs posted all over my favorite mtb trails on the north shore right now.

^^^ even though im scared of the big cats, i was glad to see they didnt kill it in that particular instance. when we get them wandering around our city, they are just killed and you never even hear anything about other options. i dont really agree with that. ive never understood why they couldnt be tranquilized and relocated. obviously it is an option. i guess our city officials just choose to remedy the situation the easy way
