Where to Stay & Connect at SMB Fresno

I'm going to be heading up to Sportsmobile, Fresno in a couple weeks to get some work done. I'm planning on driving up Sunday night and leaving Monday afternoon when the work is completed. In the past I've always stayed at the LaQuinta in downtown Fresno since I had the wife and dogs with me. However, this time I'm going solo.

Any suggestions on where to stay for Sunday night?

More importantly, I will need to have an internet connection all day Monday so I can work remotely. Unfortunately, SMB does not have one for use, unless that has changed since my last visit. Is there anywhere nearby that I can go to for this?

There is a Camping World near, you can park in the alley leading up to the gate (not in the RV parking lot, on the shoulder of the alley)

Thanks for the tip Jage. Only problem parking outside Camping World (besides the beautiful scenery ) would be a bathroom.

What about internet access during the day while SMB has my van?

Check for the nearest Starbucks. I don't recall one I would say is walking distance, but you can probably talk the into a quick ride. Otherwise, should be a cheap cab ride.

For Internet access I would say find a nice air conditioned library with comfortable tables and chairs.

There is a Vagabond Inn at the Jensen exit only 5 minutes from SMB.
Its a dive, but better than a parking lot (ok I know many of you like parking lots).
Right behind Dennys for a good breakfast.

Sportsmobile West now has wireless internet available for customer use.

Ask for password for access during your visit.

Thanks Jonny. Peter actually told me that as well. I was waiting to post until after my visit, just so I could confirm it, but you already did.
