Bitchin?

Now there's a term I haven't heard in a while. Eric, have you been spending time in the way back machine again?

Re: Where's the Video?

Yep, me too. Christine is compiling the rest of the tour in one video... sans Grand Canyon stuff which we've seen... and the "cutting room floor" is neck-deep as she sifts for the usable footage. This is taking a LOT of time, and will make a fairly lengthy final product. We don't script anything so there is a massive amount of footage that she has to hack out... as only she can.

I'll convey our collective concerns to her, and she'll blush a little, and slog on through the stuff. This (and other comments from the forum) is her only motivation, so thanks, y'all

Re: Where's the Video?

Aaight, here's an interesting piece... our raft group let about half of the passengers (which included Christine and me) out at Phantom Ranch to climb out after 6 days/88 miles. The total canyon trip is 13 days, and they picked up an equal number of 2nd-half clients who were doing the rest of the trip.

One of the new clients was the girlfriend/fiancee of Ian, a police officer from Yorkshire, England ( and a really fun/jovial ol' bobby) who had traveled with us to this point. He is wearing the Herocam.

This happens within a couple hours of all the new people getting on. Ian's girlfriend had no prior rafting experience. Everybody lived.

action starts @ about 1 minute in...
