Re: 1999 Coachman
That thing is a beast.
Ramsey took me for a ride on it's shake-down cruise and the ability to roll over bumps and holes is impressive. We were heading down the road and drove in the dirt along side the pavement at around 45 mph or so and it was devastatingly smooth, almost comfortable. I think the tires were a little underinflated, but they would be anyway. The speed bumps in the parking lot were more fun than trouble at speed as well.
And, rallypanam, the KO2's look Great! I have had 4 sets of KO's on my 300K mile 4Runner and LOVE them. These look even a bit better as the new shoulder treatment makes the comparable width look a little wider. It does look like the wheel guard on the KO2 is a bit smaller than on the KO model however.
I had a huge smile on my face as my van is at Agile Off-Road for the same treatment, with less lift.
The Coachman does need something to keep you from twisting your ankle when you slide out of the captains chair and free fall to the pavement. But, after some steps it is ready to go!
