Yep I feel like I got good enough clearance after trimming the fenders back that those won’t be an issue. The body mounts were the biggest thing. If one could move the tires forward just a bit it’d be no issue.

I’ll keep you posted on the tires and will try and get some photos posted this weekend.

Thanks Gar and Whit.

Honestly I haven't had it rub enough to worry about it. Tires have to be at just the right angle and hit a bump to make it rub. When I look at it after, I haven't seen any mark.

2015 Chevy Quigley with Duramax

Still a newbie and have been reading most threads when I can. I was considering a Ford E350 and after reading your thread am impressed with the Chevy and GMC vans and may sway that way when I eventually take the plunge and commit myself. Love them diesels and still need to convert it to RHD when I get home

Brisvegas possibly Brisbane? If you’re doing a rt hand drive conversion do take a look at Sherrifdoug here and his process. Pretty incredible.

If you want a diesel, the Duramax is hard to beat.

Thanks, Brisbane on the east coast. I've spoken to Doug and have already consulted with a local engineer insofar as what needs to be done. The Government here places that many hurdles in front of you it's a minefield and real battle. I won't hijack thread however I retire in 4mths and am already planning a 1yr US visa once I have a vehicle

As mentioned but much later than mentioned here are some photos. The first is a photo from under the front of the van of the drive shaft and associated angles after new torsion keys from Ready Lift. Drive shaft is basically flat.

Next is a shot of behind the passenger wheel where i trimmed out one of the body mounts. I essentially cut out a curve in the mount so the tire doesn’t rub on full lock. I wish i would’ve kept the piece I cut out for reference because it’s hard to tell just from this.

And here’s a shot from the side after lift and with the bigger tires. Again, 285x70x17 General Grabber ATX.

And a shot of a little light bar I mounted behind the grill. Picked it up from Superbrightleds. Haven’t used it much yet.
