Wow! That does look great. I can't wait to see it. Let me know when you have it back in Denver.

I'm guessing new because that first picture looks like SMB Fresno.

Re: At long last (almost 20 years)...

I'm sure he'll chime back in soon enough. I had been following his build for a while as he was opting to go with a walk-through, RB-30 style layout. My wife and I still aren't sure which floorplan we like so whenever someone builds a new rig with something other than the -50, we like to see how it was done. Really like the cherry wood interior color and long galley countertops on Grumpy's build.

Thanks, all... a number of you contributed to my build whether explicitly or through your posts and pictures!

New... SMB West.

Custom layout. I'll post the final diagram in my gallery for posterity.

Ha ha ha! That was an irritating (as in picture-ruining) road side snow marker. Unfortunate placement for my purposes.

A little less grumpy. Still have to work to feed its fuel gluttony, so it will necessarily be neglected more than I'd prefer. On the flip side... if I have cell signal, this bad boy will protect my laptop from the elements as well as the office and my client stated succinctly that, "as long as you get my work done on time I don't care where your body is"... soooo... you do the math!

Back in Denver, Dan... we'll have chat over our rigs sometime soon. Gotta be a weeknight...I'm traveling next couple weekends, and then off to the Himalayas for October! (I'm in "bucket list" check-off mode)

I'll drop more pics in my gallery of the interior. Had that obligatory pesky office thing to do today. I will endeavor to disabuse them of the notion that they should expect me there. I think I can find a few more interesting views for MY office than those sterile cubicle walls. Whaddaya think?

Sweet ride, Grumpy!

Enjoy the Himalayas, too. My wife and I went there last October, the Annapurna Sanctuary and base camp on the south side of the mountain. Have fun and feel free to contact me to compare notes if you'd like.

Again, really nice looking SMB!

Still lurking, and your post doesn't make waiting any easier,

Scott
