Do you think it's homemade?

I can see why you called it a beer wagon. It would take a lot of beer to come up with that. Body looks like it's in pretty good shape though, at least on this side.

Ya gotta wonder what sort of municipality would allow something like this to operate on their streets?

I mean I might want to live there---or maybe not?

If it has wheels, its legal in Florida. LOL! Some of the stuff going down the roads is pretty scary. No fenders, quarter panels, no hoods.....no problem!

I'd enjoy meeting the character that drives that - the logic & motivation behind the build would no doubt been an interesting conversation.
Who knows, Reading the caption on the rear spare suggests his top may be a trophy of driving through the last Hurricane - the result being the obvious.

I clicked on the image to enlarge it so now I can see the rust spots, so my first assessment was off a bit. Looks like the bumper must have hooked on something too.

I live winters in Marathon, Florida Keys. The guy who owns it owns the canvas shop where he is parked. A good old bare foot upstanding local citizen. More than one of us local citizens has a Hurricane Irma escape pod!
