Conversion Van Winter Blues

Having a bad case of cabin fever. Meds do not seem to help. Have spent time and money in my wood shop but helped only a little. Dreaming of summer and hitting the road. Get the van out of storage. So to fight the fever I grabbed pictures from here and there and made a 7 minute video with music about our van. Fever has dropped a few degrees for the moment.

Am very impressed with the inside of your van. Nice layout and cabinetry work. Sweet video. I too am getting cabin fever.

Wow! You can see a lot of thought and care went into the design of your travel home. And it looks like you have traveled to a lot of great places. Happy trails on your next adventure!
PS: why no built-in combustion space heat source to extend the season?

Love your van! Reminds me of my mother's Airstream...very cozy. May summer come quickly for you both.

Enjoyed your video very much. What does your van weigh with all the trimmings?

I'm betting that you are the only "B" with a sewing machine!

Hi Len and Jo,

Your movie makes me glad I was able to visit you and see your van in person when I was in Detroit!

Nice movie, thanks for sharing.

Re: Conversion Van Winter Blues

Very impressive. It's amazing how functional and well-thought-out your van is. Even more amazing is how livable your rig is (including the sewing machine). I've often wondered how people can live in their vans since my rig seems so crowded (RB-50). But your van is perfectly laid out. Well done!!!! Thanks for the video.

Re: Conversion Van Winter Blues

I kind of view the sewing machine as my "wedge". Now I have to figure how to take my table saw or maybe more realistically a very small wood lathe for my toy. I could make pens or candle stick holders. or or or
Maybe I better just stick to photography, beer and books and save the space to move around in.
