Its made from 12 gauge. Final weight around 80 ish I think.. there is still lots more steel going in it to box very thing in plus storage doors etc.

The motor head
is the guy building it for me
This is his first van bumper so im crossing my fingers but his other stuff is really nice , check out FB photos

Back up lights in California have to be pointed downwards so's they don't blind other drivers. Pretty hefty fine too.

Makes sense , Im planning on having switch so i can use the manually /when in reverse/ or off

I've never heard of this requirement before. Must just apply to add-on lights, as OEM lights are definitely not angled downward.

FWIW, every violation in California is expensive.

I heard you cant stick anything to the windshield, like gps with suction mount etc..
is that true??

True. But in BC you can't use a wired hands free with two earbuds.
