I hear that. My young-ish lab (2 years) just wants to hang out in the van all the time. If he hears the remote starter chirp, he goes and sits by the front door, ready to go.
Saturday I was outside washing the cars and cleaning the garage out, and Soda was content to just lay inside the van with his head hanging out the cargo door.
My two Dalmatians are furious when they here the SMB start up and they are not in it. One likes to sit on the goucho looking out the front window, and the other likes to stand between the front seats wagging his tail.
