Was at the 18-hour Fruita Mountain Bike race and saw 5 other rigs...red, silver, tan, and burgundy, and white. Was too exhausted to actually track down the owners. Happy Trails to all..especially the tan rig with the Buckeyes license plate.
Go Bucks!

It was truely amazing! The last time I saw that many SMBs in one place was in Fresno! I did manage to talk to the owner of the Red EB, wave at the red RB folks near the entrance of the campground (that was you?), oogle the white hardtop parked at the main park building during the race finish, and the white and burgandy rigs are at the 18 Rd campground as I type this (rolling with 2 VW poptops). Nice to see so many bikers buying into the Sportsmobile concept!
Also learned that while the Solara marine solar panels are quite heavy, a strong Fruita wind will send it airborne! Quite windy out here this afternoon!
Congratulations on finishing the race, too!

Yep! That was me! I had boondocked out on 18 Rd but the wind was just too much for me to motivate for a morning ride so I was heading east. I did see 3 more SMBs on the drive home! White one parked at Over the Edge when I was finally pulling out, red RB with bra in a roundabout in Vail, and a tan on heading west on I-70 outside of Idaho Springs.
Soon there will be more of these things in CO that Subaru Outbacks!!

Yep....that was my Red RB near the entrance. A lot more this year than a few years ago when I was still drooling over SMB's. I think the only one I saw then was the Silver EB and chatted a bit with the owner.
Haven't heard of any actual groups out here. I know that Jage who started the forum lived SE of Denver but he's the only one I've actually met.

Zrlaps..... Not sure if it was you, passed a silver SMB just west of Boulder CO , on May 07, 11, flashed the headlights as you headed east. We were in our OH. tan SMb, and just out of the backcountry headed to Escalante. Today is the first internet chance since then... no phone, but lots of fine backcountry to enjoy.
