Full Body Wrap

Wow,
I just had my 98 Sportsmobile Wraped by Adrian at Signdezignz, his shop is about an hour north of Fresno (209-785-6878). The van was origianally Green and body damage / rust--this was taken care of and wrap was stuck right over repairs (no need to repaint!!) The material used was a "CamoWrap" Max 4 pattern and applied in panels--there was a lot of Joinning as the kit is intended for pick up use, but overall results show this kit can be used for larger applications.
Total time to wrap the vehicle took around 2 days and cost was equivenent to a regular paint job , but obviously the patterns availible far exceed any painting.
Signdezignz can do any kind of patterns and full or part wraps--your imagination is the only limit!!

Re: Full Body Wrap

That looks sharp! I have been considering a vinyl wrap for my van. How do you think it will hold up against bushes and branches dragged across it? I am wondering if it will offer any protection against "desert pin-striping."

Dude,

You need to hit those rims with some olive drab Krylon, they just don't go with the graphics!

Re: Full Body Wrap

The stuff seems tough, it has cross patterns of kevlar twine. I think that it can be ripped if somthing like at tree-branch gets a hold of it, but it is still to early to tell, the wrap material glue takes a while to cure completely. What is the biggest trip is all of the corn-fed dudes drooling on it. I cant even get fuel with out someone talking to me, and wanting to know how much it cost. Today it was at Les Schab and some guy driving down the highway saw it and well you can guess the rest.
Talk to you all later.
