Picking up and passing Ujoint on the way to Colorado? Where did you find it, or where are you picking it up from?

Picking it up in Norfolk, VA and doing a small trip 3350 miles actually
Going to stop by UJoint and get a few goodies and hoping that Chris can get some Nerf bars in time and install them, then to Atlanta and so on...

When you're at Ujoint you should talk to Chris about one of his fuel tanks. One of the biggest drawbacks to these Quigley vans is the tiny fuel capacity after they modify the stock tank. Not to mention the de-lamination issue with the stock tank.

Will do… Did you do the upgraded tank with Chris? What was the tank size from quigley vs. the new tank?

I considered it, but ultimately went with a custom tank from Aero tanks because Im out on the West Coast. If I were on the east coast or could visit Chris's shop then that may have gone differently. My tank on my '05 was 23 gallons I believe and the one I have now is right at 42. Ujoint's isn't quite that big I don't think, but it was well up into the 30s if I remember correctly.

I'll talk with Chris when I stop in, we'll have to address the strap issues on Quigleys per the website - ** Our tanks do not fit Quigley vans that have had the forward tank strap relocated! Sorry! **

To start I may just carry a few extra fuel cans (if I plan any remote extended driving).

That works. I would consider the tank de-lamination enough of an issue too though to make it somewhat of a priority. It can potentially cause some real problems.
