I also have to work on my Starcool, but have other things to fix up first.
Thanks! I got the 2 pc bed right from Sportsmobile. They gave me the option of both a one or two piece, brown or grey. Ya it hangs from the roof as well. I hope to have it installed sometime this week.

Haven't done anything with it yet, will either put it in the rear receiver or pick up an aluminess mount for the factory bumper.

Re: Just purchased - 1997 EB 4x4

I still have plenty to do but here are some pictures from today. Fixed the rear air bags, installed the front grille guard and tail light guards, running boards, mud flaps (for protection and to stay legal) and re-installed the starcool condensor and new fan. Also finally took some pictures of the interior.

Man, that van is SWEET! Great buy.

Mine is 2X4 but similar paint scheme. I have the old-school aluminum running boards but definitely want some of the ATS boards after seeing yours.

Keep the pics coming...

Thanks! The stripe is growing on me more and more.

These boards are the ATS Edge Series, i ended up getting them directly from Sportsmobile.

Re: Just purchased - 1997 EB 4x4

Well we're getting a little closer to being ready to head out Sept 1st for the Dempster and Alaska. Finished a couple more things on the list. Front mount spare fuel can. I had the concern of airflow but after talking to the previous owners who had a spare tire mounted on the front its entire life, they said it never heated up. So figured the jerry can would be fine. My wife is sewing a padded cover for the metal jerry can to protect it from rocks on the gravel roads. Decided on two spare tires, inspired from twolost and their northern trip. Also got the Scanguage mounted and set up.

Re: Just purchased - 1997 EB 4x4

I hate to pry but would love to just know what the "crazy low" price actually was? What a great looking
van. Is that a bathroom in the rear? Jealous is what comes to mind.
