I ordered a Redcat 1/24 Sumo RC crawler (4 wheel steer too!) and an ECX 1/24 Temper rc crawler for my sons for Christmas and I put the Proline 1/25 Ambush rc crawler (steel ladder frame and leaf springs!) on my list for Mrs. Clause with the sole intention being to put cool hardbodies from static models on them.
I found a pre-'92 body style Econoline model, but still no luck finding a '92+ style in 1/20, 1/24, or 1/25 scale. Those Johnny Lightnings are selling for absurd amounts. I'd still buy one for the right price, but in the meantime, I'm still on the lookout for a styrene (or whatever plastic they use?) model.
