I can't believe how much those go for. Super cool but don't see the value.

There's plenty of value in used SmB however. Great bang for the buck.

I had one take me over, pop top version, today going down to Salt Lake City, surprised me how quick he drove, I was doing 78... didn't remember them going that fast...

Those use a lot of fuel. 14-18mpg.

Do you remember where the plates are from? Im pretty sure its my friend Jon from Toronto.....He did spend alot of money on that van too...made my smb look like a great deal

I was camped next to a guy who had a 300hp Subaru engine in his 2wd Westie. He claimed it got 22mpg and drove like a car. Hills weren't a problem for him.

There is nothing better than an syncro 4x4 Vw Westy for traction and being light weight.

They handle the sand, snow and elements with ease. Just cannot tow anything is why I had
to get rid of mine.

Not to mention how expensive they were to keep up.

The fast ones have the Subaru engine or an updated 2.5 engine over stock 2.1

I prefer the SMB for how it weighs more on the road so less flopping in the wind and can pull
something.
