Re: My new van!

So I bought some OEM Ford alcoa's a little while back and recently purchased some used BFG All Terrains. Finally got a chance to take it all to the local tire shop and have them installed. Still on the fence on if I like these wheels on my van or not. I want to eventually do either a Camburg or Action Van lift, but I'm thinking of maybe doing either a spring swap or coil spacer in the mean time. Let me know what you guys think of doing a minor lift if eventually wanting to get a full lift.

Not the best pic, but you can get an idea of what it looks like with the wheels. I'm leaving the center caps off because I think it looks better without them.

Re: My new van!

I dig em! At stock height it kind of gives it a mean street-rod look. Those will look great with the lift too IMO and if you want to experiment you could plasti-dip em and they would look almost just like the look you wanted that you posted above.

Re: My new van!

Just a few hours south of you is Agile off road with excellent choices for lifting that Van.
Do it in a way that suits building out interior. They can be cost effective and give ideas of how to get it right the 1st time. Not that you need any help just saying.

I was going to go overboard and they chimed in and saved me a fortune with easy fixes.

Re: My new van!

Thanks copescobra! I got some info from him a while back and keep going back and forth on what I should do. If I go the simple route with a spring change or spacer, it will still cost $500 to get it installed. Still much less than a full kit, but the full kit looks badass!

Thanks Ray! Went in pretty easy. Just had to remove the padding under the carpet so that the bolts would fit. Pretty happy with it!

Where'd you get your swivel base. Looks like you have basically the same Van as me. I have a 2006 E-250. Want to put the swivel base in the front passenger. Where and how much? TIA

Re: My new van!

I got the swivel from a forum member. Its the one from Discount Van http://www.discountvantruck.com/rvvanse ... tbases.htm (96+ oem swivel base). I heard it can take a really long time to get parts from them though, so be aware of that if you order from them.

Re: My new van!

Thanks. I found one from a random blog thru Google. I'll post the link here for future people looking. $252 after shipping. Fits 1996-2006 Ford econolines. I have e-250 cargo. Made for passenger and driver, same price for each. 360 degree swivel. Shipping takes about 1 week! Not bad. Here's the link.
http://shop4seats.com/van-seats/van-...-oem-seat.html

I order 1 for now for the passenger and will decide later if I need one for the driver.
