so many great pix!!

I know this spot doesn't look like much, but it was an amazing camp. there was a beaver dam just below this spot that was filled with fish, river otters, all kinds of birds, deer, elk, along with the typical lizards, snakes and frogs. it was far enough off the beaten path that you could see so much animal activity that we flocked to it often. we will really miss it the spot burned last summer along with 300k other acres in our area. rip "good spot near jenny lake" spot. ill pour a little beer on the curb for it...

Man I love this thread. Keep it going folks! Stick to the 3 pic rule and just let some time pass if you want to add another 3 so it doesn't get too greedy. I know a few phenomenal SMBer/photographers who I hope will chime in. VivalaVida? Twolost?

First is a picture of my dad, brother and me (blond kid in the center) somewhere in Baja California. They instilled a love of camping.

Second is a group photo at the geologist cabin in Death Valley. I've made some great friends along the way.

Third is a photo of Saline Springs. It reminds me why I love to camp.
