Re: Need your opinion on this.

Great find in my opinion. I have 9K miles in 9 months of ownership. Mine came with a mortgage.

Re: Need your opinion on this.

Ok the last one fell through, Slow bank I missed it by one day, Oh well. But I have a new one on the line now and I do want your opinion please. This is a 2006 SMB 4x4 conversion. It has roughly 44000 miles on it and it comes with the big warranty. Options include flat plate H2o heater, electric PH, Trojan front and rear bumpers, RB-50 floor plan, new solar panels, new carpet overlay, one year old starting batterys and Im sure Im forgetting something but you get the idea. A little high on the price...maybe.... but maybe still worth it. You tell me.

Thank you

Ok,
I must ask,
Is red a good thing or bad.
I will say there is not to many red ones that come up for sale.
I do like the red, all though it will show all the miles of dirty dirty roads I will be traveling.

Re: Need your opinion on this.

I don't feel that my red SMB shows dirt more so than most other colors. I'd say the more dirt neutral color is Baja Tan, but then again, if you go on dirt roads around Moab the red dirt will still show up.

There's lots of different color dirt out there, so no one color is going to hide it all. Having owned a black car before though, I would not recommend black for a number of reasons.

Re: Need your opinion on this.

I love my red SMB. It certainly gets noticed, though being red is only partly to blame for that. I was concerned about the interior heat level when compared to white, tan, silver or gold, but if there is a difference, it hasn't bothered me.

As far as dirt goes, when I am on a trip, the dirt is a badge of honor. It says I am actually going off-road and my van is not a "street queen." After each trip, the van gets thoroughly washed. It gets dirty from sitting out on the street between trips, but it's nothing a quick trip to the coin-op car wash before a trip can't cure.

If you like the color, then go for it. These things are too big to hide in any color.
