what are your side steps made out of? they look different from what many of us have, but it's hard to tell from your photo.

Hey, the front bumper looks great. Hope this question isn't off topic but...
Would having a heavy duty bumper like this on front while leaving the standard bumper on back eventually cause issues to the van with that unequal weight front and back?
I ask because I hadn't considered just adding front...and just adding front might be good for me for various reasons.

Had no idea they were that light. Obviously my location within the SMB is gonna have more impact on 'heavy weight' front or back than the bumper would.
Too late to get on the XMAS list this year but there's always my birthday next Spring.

Mostly, you just have to put things in there that can get wet. I made a semi-rubber seal with electrical tape on the back but I missed some holes in the bumper sides, so the test kind of went badly. Some Plasti-Dip might help- but in the end unless you're putting everything in water-proof bags, expect it to get wet and dusty.
