Re: New guy's wheelchair van

The shifter was $189 for a single + installation and you can mount it pretty much anywhere you want. The drop floor is an extensive modification but well worth it.

Re: New guy's wheelchair van

Thanks for the pics of the drop floor conversion. That looks like quite an involved job. I've been wondering how it was done for a couple of years now. Those photos just put that mystery to rest.

Re: New guy's wheelchair van

great looking van. im really diggin the vans in black for some reason. would hate keeping them clean, but they sure look good.

really like the stocker wheels too. kinda wish that style wheel would fit on my van.

x2 on posting pix of the floor drop. pretty interesting to see.

It is the 2nd black vehicle I have had. After the first one I said never again but after not having one I missed it and had to get another one. I got lots of compliments before I got the 4x4 added but now it's over the top. It seems like I get complimented daily now. You are right about keeping it clean though. Well worth it!

I have always liked the look too. I just put my winter tires on them last week and they will stay mounter on the factory wheels. I am getting new wheels and tires in the spring. Now I just have to find a wheel and tire packaage that will fit my van's sliding side door with 17" or 18" wheels and 33" tires.

I have had lots of people asking me how it was done and as everyone knows "A picture is worth a thousand words".
