Good looking ride and nice improvements, specially the awning and seats!

Camped up near Badger Flats outside of Independence, CA. Great spot......we had the whole place to ourselves for 4th of July weekend. Total free-for-all with the dogs running wild.

Re: New SMB Owner: 1993 E250 RB30

Spent most of last week/weekend in Las Vegas for Interbike and then headed to Gooseberry Mesa for a few days of camping and riding. Great time with friends from several states that all managed to converge there for a few days.

The road out onto the Mesa had a few sections of mud/standing water that had us a little nervous as we were traveling alone at that point. Careful, cautious driving got the job done!

good stuff - reminds me a lot of the '93 we just sold. I had the same approach when I bought it - everything had to get a coat of flat black.

Great looking rig! What did you use to spray the grill/bumpers? How has it held up?

I originally used Plastidip on the bumpers. It worked great, was easy to apply and held up pretty good.

That said, I found a step bumper to be much more useful than the stock no-step bumper. When I bought the chrome step bumper I had a local powdercoater spray it matte black.

The front bumper was originally the stock chrome bumper sprayed with Plastidip. That held up fine but I replaced it with a black painted bumper after a few "incidents" left the Plastidip with some scuffs/rips.

The grill and all the exterior fixtures have been sprayed with Plastidip and have held up great.

A few weeks back....camped near Mt Laguna. Quick weekend trip to run the Mt Laguna Marathon, ride Noble Canyon Trail and visit Alpine Brewery on the way home.

Actually.....the marathon and Noble were on the same day:-)

But.....we shuttled.....so that negates any hardcore bonus points!
