New Supplementary Propulsion Option

On our recent trip to Boulder we stopped by Colorado Springs and the Air Force academy to get some work done on McBeast. We have been talking to SMB about a new option they have been working on.

When folks have asked us what our SMB oes not have we tell them that we did not get the helecopter roter option..... but when we heard that SMB has a new supplemetary propulsion option, we decided we would have to upgrade.

We are worried about the fuel economy, but it does have the potential to decrease travel times.

What's the warranty? Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Great photo though.

Greg,

Great picture. It brings to mind a quote is saw engraved on the front of dual carburators sitting on top of a blown 460.

"There is more to life than gas mileage"

Very nice but a bit too expensive for me.

So I went for the jet pack option instead...

With that I could get rid of the AR-15 and switch to real fire power.

hmm, curious...That looks like its out at the old Peterson Field east of C Springs, not the Academy proper. You sure? Trying to trick us as to the real location of said upgrade?

I think it was actually at a National Guard Armory in Plainview Tx.....just after we put 44+ gallons in the fuel tank.
