New to the Forum, but not new to 4x4 vans

What a suprise it was to find this site.. I've owned my 1999 Quigley 4x4 Express 2500 since new. I've logged over 130,000 on the beast and continue to enjoy my "Battle Wagon" as many of my friends call it. Here is a pic of it from the summer, although now my grill and bumpers are now blacked out. I'll post up a new pic when I get a chance.. I'm looking forward for all the helpful info here.

sweet.. what size tires do you have and do you have any pics of the inner fender well because it looks like you did some trimming. Im looking to put larger tires on mine and will have to trim. thanx..and Welcome!

running 305-70-16 on 16 x 8 wheels. Yea , I had to do some trimming, the rear plastic wheel well lip had to be trimmed , and the metal splash pad pushed back alittle with a sledge hammer. The front bumper also had to be trimmed on the inside, there was a factory lip that extended out too much and rubbed the tire at full turn. Otherwise it all fits it and just at extreme twist do I just just a slight tire rub at the top of the wheel well. No issues at the rear.

That's a unique roof rack you have there. It looks like the main panel might be moveable?

My roof rack is beefy, its made of Aluminum, came from an army surplus place , I designed and crafted it.,, lots of stainless parts too.( those 5" holes were a treat to drill out) It took me a good month to come up with the project. It can easily hold over 1000+ lbs, (proved by 6 good sized guys with chairs sitting on top) not that I'd put that much weight on top while moving. But it is a place for my spare , 4 bicycle mounts, and extra luggage. Had to design special supports inside the cabin so the roof of the van doesn't bear the weight... Its really solid.
