Newer to forum

I’ve been looking for a replacement of my 2017 MB 4x4 that I just sold..
Specifically, an older E350 EB50 7.3
For reasons I’m sure the 7.3 people can relate and understand...

I found the van I liked...it wasn’t for sale at the time, but I knew that it was something the owner had contemplated for a minute and I asked him his price.

Many of you guys know Robb... @rallypanam..

He probably wasn’t in the market at the time, but I searched the forum for his threads and realized he was a very honest and reasonable person that the forum members trusted and appreciated.

Purely based on his interactions with this forum, I asked him his price for his van and agreed to it.
I flew to San Francisco today and drove the van home to Carlsbad....
Super stoked on the van and all the work Robb has done.
I hope to become an active member here and share my travels with the van as well as all the questions I’ll have.
I’ll add a pic, but I’m sure you all know this van...

Welcome to this wild world of SMB's---I'm the odd man out because I don't own one but have developed a general interest in how they're put together and serviced. My own needs run towards Ford E-Series cargo-only work vans but do find a lot of conveniences incorporated in adventure vans does transfer quite nicely.

I recognize the name RallyPaAm and he does have a great reputation here.

Enjoy this great online community---one of the best on the whole internet!

Congrats Ron! I saw your post/pic on Instagram this morning but didn't realize it was Robb's. Very cool. Wonder what that guy will do next? Where are you lately, Robb?

I'm kind of sad to see this van leave our group of campers, but you managed to acquire one of the best documented, best upgraded, and best maintained SMBs most of us have ever seen. Robb took great pride in that vehicle. You should enjoy it for many years to come. Congratulations on the purchase

I still have a heart stutter when I see my van isn’t in its normal parking spot!

I've had that same reaction when something has sold, equally surprised to see something "new" in the parking spot.

Thanks guys... one of the main reasons I bought Robb’s van was because of his participation in this group and the attitude he shows in his posts. He was always very generous when selling things, often giving some away.
Thanks again Robb.. I’ll be sure add updated pics of your van and participate in this group..
I have a few things I’m planning on doing to finish the van off...luckily most is already done..
