Re: not sure what to say

And now for something a little different. Saw this near Tucson in March. It's a Mercedes 5080 named Alemania I think.

Re: not sure what to say

Alemania means Germany and there are plenty of them in that country.

Re: not sure what to say

Sprinters do look tippy, buuuuuttt I have one for a work van and it is superior in almost every way to the fords and chevy's that I have owned and still own. (FOR A WORK VAN!) don't get me wrong,Over the road work vans are a different animal than off road camper vans. The sprinter's : steering is more precise, turning radius is amazing, handling is firmer- not at all tippy, braking is better, visibility is better, fuel economy is far better, seating position more comfortable- the drawbacks seem to be price tag, power can be low (ours weighs in around 8klbs loaded and on big hills sometimes I want more power), and of course the geeky looks. As much as I love working out of my sprinter, I have no defense for the appearance. we still get teased about the looks on jobsites, but I would not trade it for anything available on the market right now. The interior when it was empty does sort of beg for a camper conversion- but it would have to be a freeway camper for sure.
