We did learn something by walking through the two closed campgrounds on Hosmer Lake the next morning though. There are some BEAUTIFUL spots there! I've got some pics somehwere. Great lakeside wooded campsites with Mt. Bachelor through the trees. Oh well, I'm probably the last to find this out.

I'll take any info on a good campsite up there, so post up or pm me anytime!

And, ya, the skeeters were absolutely terrible. I came home with about five humongous bites I'd swear were from something a lot more dangerous. Next time I'll remember my bug juice.

Dude, that 'dust art' in the last pic is great! You should keep that one, frame it, sell it, whatever. It's iconic!

Ha, thanks! That's my 18 yr old daughter. She starts a graphic design program at N. Ariz U. in a couple of weeks. Maybe the last big family trip in the old battle wagon.

Congrats, Joe. Quite a milestone. Looks like she'll still be close for a whole, though.

Yep, we'll see her when she comes home to do her laundry. LOL. She's on scholarship to swim for the Western Athletic Conf champs so no skiing either.
