this last weekend we had our 48th annual freezeout event. its a 1.7 mile race up an old road in emmett idaho. we close down the road, set up some timing equipment and turn people loose. we have people from all over attend this event. from canada to so cal, oregon, washington, montana, utah, and some as far away as virginia. we had around 45 or so drivers. we get cars of all makes, sizes, etc, lol...
heres a few pix and a few videos.
sadly, this gent left the road in thee worst spot possible.
end result
took just shy of a 290' cable to pull him out from road. cant imagine how the ride was. hill was so steep that i ended up basically skiing down so i didnt tumble. he doesnt remember any of the accident.
gent is ok. had a cut on his hand and a sore neck, but was discharged from local hospital a few hours after incident. i think the pride was the most damaged
heres a buddies run in a 300ish hp widebody e30 m3.
