Quadvan Delivers!

Here is my new work van (already worked out of, so dirty). Quadvan did the 4x4 conversion, Van Specialties did the interior and Dale Sykes at Newberg Ford located the van, brought it to Portland and had it shuttled around. I did the whole thing over the phone and internet and did not see the van until it was completed. I was not disappointed. I had a great experience and I LOVE the van. What is it about us van people that goes nuts over a 4x4 van?

Van looks great. What front/rear bumpers are those? Enjoy the new toy.

Aluminess. Thanks. Definitely enjoying it. It's hard not to be driving around all the time.

Very nice!

Also, Nice scaled down Aluminess rear bumper. I've been looking to get one since I carry a dirt bike.

Can you post or Email me a closeup Pics(jpg) of that Aluminess Rear Bumper?

Re: Quadvan Delivers!

Sweet Ride.

What are the details on the 4x4 system you picked (manual? electronic? lockers?)?

Did van specialties do the rear seat too? Looks like the factory crew van option, except it's a pre-'09 seat.

Is Van Specialties the former US Vans? They are just down the street from where US vans used to be.

Re: Quadvan Delivers!

The rear bumper is just the basic Aluminess without the tire carrier or box. I'll post a picture ASAP. Also, I think Van Specialties has been Van Specialties forever. They put that rear seat in there and I think it's just one they had around - not sure what year. I was going to yank it out as soon as I got the van but it's kind of nice back there for the dog.

The 4x4 is shift on the fly with auto lockers. Really nice. I don't know too much about it except I know Quadvan does great work and I know this van now cruises through the snow like it's on tracks which was really the only reason I got it -- for the snow. But now that I have it I'm thinking I might could find some good trouble during the other 3 seasons as well.

Re: Quadvan Delivers!

Quadvan just finished my van friday. I drove it home over the weekend to orange county. It rides smooth as a cadillac ( I have Nitto terra graplers on it) and turns in 2wd no less than 7 feet less than stock ( turning radius). Also is absolutely level. My buddy and I coudn't believe how smooth it was. I used 18' ATX Vise wheels 8.50 wide. RD
