Re: Rear Awning

Viejo,

Its a Mombasa Brand.... same as the ARB Brand I think. I purchased the smallest in length a few years ago, knowing where it will be mounted. I finally mounted the awning a couple of moths ago I also have a Fiamma F45 Black awning waiting in the garage to be mounted, dodge mega cab seats, etc..... it will be in my van one day! I love the rear awning because where we surf around Southern California, you would have to back in your rig. This way, the kids and wife (if not out surfing) have some shade from the sun.

Re: Rear Awning

That's cool! How does it mount? Do you think it would work with a PH top?

Here's a link to what looks to be the same awning (ARB): http://completeoffroad.com/i-1406178-arb-awnings.html

Rear Awning

I made a mount for it... It will work with a PH for sure. I made it so once I get the top from SMB, I can still have the awning.

Re: Rear Awning

A pic or two of the mount would be great if you can do it.

Re: Rear Awning

Oooooooooohhhh

Major drool!

Perfect for San-O or some of the other beach areas around So Cal.
Do you mind posting a shot of the other side of the awning mount? Were those mounts the ones that came with the Mombasa awning?
